It was quite early in the morning, and Tim was sleepier than usual as he made his way to the kitchen. He rubbed sleep out of his eyes as he stumbled in, bumping the door and then the counter but not really noticing. He was there to grab himself a quick snack, something to nibble on before the main breakfast that would take place in about two hours time.
The reason Tim was so extra sleepy was because of his recent training. He was practicing the manipulations of his force flows in a way that was stretching his abilities to new levels. He had taken to walking on walls whenever going somewhere in the academy, something he had not done this morning. This activity was trickier than walking on ceilings because with ceilings he could simply hang, but when walking on the walls he had to support his entire body horizontally thus expending a great amount of energy. It was a fair trade, though, as his ability was greatly growing.
Now, as he bumped into the fridge then began to open it, he caught sight of something that he had never really noticed before. There on the counter to his left was a large jar of instant coffee powder. Slowly picking it up he checked for instructions on the use of the popular substance, but found none. He knew the effects people claimed the substance had, but he had never thought to try it. Wondering if this was his energy saviour, he turned to look for someone who could assist in the brewing of this concoction that was so strangely alien to Tim.

Logan sat up, resigned to his early morning. The clock’s red letters read 5:10 and he contemplated whether or not smashing it would make him feel better. He decided the clock had nothing to do with his prolonged bout of insomnia and to take his frustration out on a defenseless clock would be a downright pointless albeit amusing exercise. He would rather take out his anger on something that supposedly fought back. At least then it would be interesting.
He stood up and walked over to the bathroom for his morning ritual, after which he got dressed in one of his training outfits. He ambled down two flights of stairs and by the time he reached the ground floor, decided that there was no way he was going to stay awake for training by himself. Turning to his left instead of continuing, he made a slow beeline for the kitchen, wondering what was in stock. He stopped as he opened the door, and raised an eyebrow at the sight.
Slowly picking it up he checked for instructions on the use of the popular substance, but found none. He knew the effects people claimed the substance had, but he had never thought to try it.
One of the students was standing, notwithstanding that he looked as though he was about to topple over, staring at the label of an instant coffee jar. Logan began to move toward the fridge next to the student and said, “You gonna make some or stare at it all day? ” as he did so. As he arrived, he took a good look at the student and continued with, "You look like you could use it..."

Tim saw the burly man enter the kitchen but it didn't really register until he spoke, and then Tim slowly turned his head to the man to answer, somewhat suprised "Ah, Mr. Wolverine, I have a slight -um- problem... I've never drank or made coffee before... would you please tell me how it's done?"
Tim felt slightly embarrassed about not knowing how to make the beverage, but he considered the fact that he had never bothered to find out about it a fair justification. He felt a kind of connection with Mr. Wolverine, as everyone knew that he had been trained in the ninja arts in Japan, as had Tim. Tim subconsciously considered this as he yawned widely without covering his mouth and alternated between staring blankly at the coffee jar and Mr. Wolverine.

Late nights were no new thing to the delicate-appearing telepath. The same was going to apply to here. No matter how many times she tried, no matter how many attempts she made.. she never could really ever get to sleep. Perhaps it was her telepathy- keeping her up with other people's insomnia and dreams, making life.. more than a little awkward when sleeping. She already didn't have enough control as it was, add in the beginnings of rest.. and, well- it was no wonder she'd not sleep until it was to the point of unconcious slumber.
Even still- she'd spent it in her room for the most part and then.. to the roof. An odd, but relaxing new set of habbits that she was certain would stick. So when she came down early in the morning from her roof-top perch, she'd been slightly- though not completely- suprised to see others as she pushed the door open.
Her black and white eyes imediatly shifted over the two in the kitchen already, causing an imediate uncertainty at what to say- or do. Social situations, while she was quite used to observing them.. weren't her forte. Like a scientist who's only talent was in recording information, she stood a few seconds before just barely- cordually nodding her head. Not speaking of her own accord.
Then again- it was hard to blame her, if one had known the circumstances. Telepathic speach and everyday life outside the institute never would go quite so well together, and adjusting to a place where people were a-ok with someone talking straight into their head was.. quite the change.
At the question of coffee making, she imediatly searched for the answer, mind shuffing over 'data' and memories as she discovered, through extra help, how exactly coffee was made. Now.. would she anwer? That was hard to tell. The question had been directed at someone else, and it was quite rude to interject. She silently reminded herself this as she moved for the fridge, quietly and politely discovering the wonders that the kitchen held.

Kat had spent very little time sleeping since she'd arrived. She preferred to get up in the early hours of the morning so that she best put her time to use. She'd often go down and get herself a little morning snack to keep the wolf from the door until breakfast. This was usually a lonesome task, but this morning proved otherwise. For, as she entered the kitchen, it was most certainly occupied.
A little surprised, she stopped in the doorway before proceeding and commented quickly, "Looks like I missed the worm then..." She said with smile. She noticed Wolverine standing near the fridge and quickly greeted him respectfully. She also noticed Tim nearby and was amazed to see him awake. He was given to long sleeping spells, or sleep whenever he could get it. Of course, she never knew if he was sleeping, he only seemed that way. So, perhaps such an early morning excursion wasn't so unusual.
She noticed the coffee in his hand and there was an expectant energy in the air. It seemed there was a question to be answered, but having not heard it, she was not equipped to do so. "Can I help with something?" she quickly asked before moving over to a nearby counter to her stash of Rooibos tea. It was a tea with its roots in Southern Africa and few people new it as Rooibos, but she preferred it to the traditional coffee. She threw a teabag into her mug, which she'd brought down from her room and added some water. She charged it and the tea heated up rapidly, sending the flavour through the liquid. She turned, "Anyone else want something to drink?"

Logan was astounded and that was pretty hard to accomplish. The number of students that did not sleep in this school was phenomenal. You would assume that none of them needed to. It was five in the morning for crying out loud.
The boy who was standing with the coffee was staring at it blankly and Logan was about to take it from him, but decided that watching him was going to entertain him more. He instead turned to the fridge and was about to grab the milk when the doors opened again.

It was a girl with a very interesting appearance although Logan had seen far more unusual. Mystique’s organic form was a tough act to beat. He looked at her and nodded in greeting before fetching the milk wand walking over to the cupboards on the other side of the sleepy boy. He took down a bowl and had just set it down when the doors opened again.

This time it was another girl. He looked up again and noted that the first one who he didn’t know had moved to the fridge. The girl who walked in he did know however. She was Kathryn King or Switch as she called herself. As she greeted him, he retuned it with, “Mornin Switch.” She was a good student and an excellent fighter. Logan was not the most outwardly perceptive man but he could see that her biggest problem as far as powers were concerned was her confidence. Even so, she packed a punch when she felt like it. He had just managed to get hold of a box of cereal and sat down as the door opened for a third time.

The kitchen had suddenly become very crowded, atleast for this time of the morning, but Tim hardly noticed, being in the only partially awake state that he was. If he didn't get something to wake him up soon he'd probably pass out and sleep for a few weeks. He gave this half a thought, then looked at Kat. Words seemed to be coming from her mouth...
She turned, "Anyone else want something to drink?"
Tim now had something new to think about... the words she said they meant something... something important... Tim wasn't sure why, but his body began to move towards her and his arms held the coffee jar out to her almost pleadingly...
Tim could feel himself slipping away, slowly but surely... and his only salvation lay in the substance in the jar extended before him.

“Mornin Switch.”
Kat smiled as Logan greeted her in his casual way. He was a good teacher and a patient one, she believed. She wasn't the best combatant, but she hoped she had brains to make up for it. There still seemed to be a tension in the room and Kat broke it with a question.
She asked if anyone else would like a drink and Tim seemed to respond first after Wolverine ignored her comment and went for a box of cereal instead. He looked at her, pleadingly and stepped forward with a jar in his hand. He seemed beyond tired, although, he always looked beyond tired. She looked down at the jar and recognised it to be instant coffee. Tim seemed to be asking her to make some...
She raised an eyebrow, surely they had coffee in Japan...
"Er... Tim?" he seemed set on getting her to take the jar, so she did. She pulled of the lid, trying to refrain from making any unnecessary comment. She took another mug of water and heated it, adding the brown powder last.
She mixed it with a teaspoon and turned back to Tim, "Milk?" She asked still trying hard not to say anything about Tim's apparent lack of living.

Logan had just finished concocting his favourite mixture of cereals and adding all the things he enjoyed with it. He lifted the spoon towards his mouth and was about to begin enjoying breakfast when he glanced back at the boy with the coffee jar. He also watched from across the counter as Switch took it from him and proceeded to make him a cup. From the level of alertness on the boy's face and the very strong coffee being handed to him, Logan grinned to himself and took the spoonful of cereal.
She turned, "Anyone else want something to drink?"
At that, Logan swallowed, turned to her and said, "If you’re offerin', I wouldn't mind." He liked coffee, more than most would think. He continued to eat his cereal as he watched the boy raise the cup very slowly toward his mouth. This was going to be very entertaining.
He turned to the other girl with the interesting highlights who still had her head in the fridge and said, " If you want anythin', now’s the time to stake your claim." He continued to face her although his attention was focused on the sleepy boy.

Taking the coffee from Kat without answering her question, for he didn't even hear it, Tim focussed completely on the cup and its contents. His life hung in the balance as he raised the cup to his mouth, but a small voice in the back of his mind rung out, remaining ignored. The world became a slow moving picture for Tim as the cup touched his lips. The dark liquid sliding past his lips brought with it an unrestrained energy that he had never felt before.
This new energy unleashed itself in Tim without a second's warning, a wave of gravity that pulsed through the room, causing a dull boom. Caught by suprise, Tim struggled to regain control of his ability. Unable to move, the dark liquid of energy simply continued to pour down his throat, as the source of the force, Tim remained unaffected by the power coursing from within, merely standing there as the gravity of the room twisted, pushed and pulled.

Tim took the coffee from Kat without answering her question. Which, personally, she found quite rude, but decided not to say anything. She turned back to the cupboards as Tim sipped at his new drink as she desperately searched for a rusk to dunk into her tea. It wasn't long before Kat found herself inexplicably stuck... It had seemed a split second, but she was now across the room and stuck, rather awkwardly to Logan...
Her head didn't catch on and she immediately thought, "What the..." As she scanned the room in her state of non-motion, she noticed that various other objects were floating around the room as well as getting stuck in inconvenient places. The rusks, she noted were now attached to the ceiling and were, thus, unreachable. More urgent than this crisis, however, was the fact that she was seemingly glued to Logan her face pressed to the side against his chest and her arms around his shoulders. She began to join the dots as she noticed something else little odd. The tea she had made was no longer on the counter, but was circling her and Logan in a very unusual manner. They must have a gravity filed...
She turned, as much as she could, to see Tim, poised with the cup streaming coffee into his mouth. "Completely wired..." she thought as she glared at him, despite his lack of fault in the matter. "Er... Tim?" she tried to say, but, obstructed by her position, it came out as, "Hijefeer Im?"
This was interesting indeed. Kat had seen coffee affect people, but this was off the map. This initial amazement was quickly replaced by panic. What if Grav couldn't be stopped? Was she to spend her days awkwardly close to the Wolverine? Some girls would probably have given their right arms to be in the same... position, but Kat was alarmed at the prospect. To say the very least. She sincerely hoped that Tim snapped out of it. "Tim!" she tried to yell, but failed miserably and shouted inaudibly into Logan's shoulder.

At the dull boom, the tiny seeming telepath looked up- black and white eyes falling onto each in the kitchen with a calm, analytical gaze. She hadn't moved. In the torrent of movement, her chair, her cup.. everything remained motionless- telekinetic override. Though she couldn't go farther than that, her tiny forcefield kept her from going arry. At least- as best as possible.
::Tim..:: She slid from her chair, eyes and features still making her appear doll like as she moved forrwards, telepathic voice full of some sort of silent infecting calm. Her gaze shifted briefly towards Kathryn, analyzing in that all too peculier of a manner.
She closed her eyes silently, one hand just barely coming forwards, slowly and systematically working her way into Tim's mind, restructuring and analyzing the affects the coffee had on his brain. She didn't, however, control him, nor force him into stopping it. Instead.. she simply.. opened the door- allowing him to see the way. A mind did not have to be controlled. Suggestion, understanding.. analysis. Just barely- just faintly, she smiled.
A much more affective method. Allowing him the power to control it, instead of forcing him to rely on another to stop the occurance- should it ever happen again.

As the cup touched the sleepy boy’s lips, Logan’s senses went wild and he realized that this was a mistake though he was not sure how. He ignored the girl as she turned to the cupboards, eyes only seeing the boy as he stood up slowly. He was answered a second later with a dull boom as everything flew into places and shapes it shouldn’t.
It had seemed a split second, but she was now across the room and stuck, rather awkwardly to Logan... More urgent than this crisis, however, was the fact that she was seemingly glued to Logan her face pressed to the side against his chest and her arms around his shoulders.
His answer was Switch pressed against his chest, just a little too close for comfort. He was amicable enough to give a one-armed hug to some of his students after a really disappointing training session, but this was ridiculous. Switch had her face pressed against his chest and her arms were fixed around his neck rather awkwardly. He was unable to move and it was just a little less irritating that what Magneto used to do to him. Less because he knew that this had no malicious intent, just plain loss of control. He ignored the attempt at sound she made.
As his eyes began to roam around the room, he began to notice other oddities. This include d a box of rusks seemingly glued to the ceiling, a cup of tea revolving around both him and Switch in an unhurried manner and his cereal making patterns above his head. “Just move off slightly…” he thought despairingly. He was NOT in the mood for another shower. The true oddity however was the other girl who seemed to be entirely unaffected by the sudden changes in gravity. In fact, after scanning the room painfully slowly, she was staring the boy with her eyes fixed on him as a tiny hand rose slowly.
She closed her eyes silently, one hand just barely coming forwards, slowly and systematically working her way into Tim's mind, restructuring and analyzing the affects the coffee had on his brain.
He could see from where he was glued that she was trying to help him help himself. Intelligent move to say the least. He had to talk to her, providing he ever got out of this. He waited to see if this would help the boy at all…
OOC: Not a problem, this is fun… and would only happen with Tim…

After a seemingly endless amount of time, the dark liquid of power stopped flowing down Tim's throat, but still unable to move, he simply stood there with the empty cup raised. He felt a presence enter his mind and immediately recognized it to be Alix, the creepy telepath girl. She seemed to open a door in his mind that he had always known was there but had never thought to investigate before.
In his mind he began to move towards this door, a painfully slow process. As he did this he began to lower the empty cup and look around the room. Everything moved in painfully slow motion for him, another side-effect of his insane caffiene-rush. If the situation wasn't so serious, he would have laughed hysterically at Kat and Mr. Wolverine who were so awkwardly pressed together with random objects floating around them. In fact he would have laughed despite the seriousness, but this was kind of his fault.
Now reaching the door in his mind, he stepped through. Inside of the mental room he stepped into he could see amazing new realms of power that he'd never thought possible before. In fact, this wasn't a room, it was the outside of the box he'd kept himself in before. Smiling, he embraced these new limitless abilities, reigning in his power and restoring gravitational order to the room.

Kat felt herself growing even more uncomfortable. She doubted anyone had been this close to the Wolverine... well, not anyone... there had to have been.... Kat fought the thought of quickly and grew to a point of desperation. How the hell was she going to get out of this?
She struggled, but nothing could pry her from him. Tim had better do something or it was going to get very unpleasant for him at a later stage. ... classes would never be the same again... She felt a silence hit the room and she struggled to know what was going on. Her view was limited, but she could feel something happening around her. She remained stationary, waiting in the expectation that had consumed the room. Not that she really had a choice if she had chosen to do otherwise...
She watched Tim, having no alternative and he seemed stuck in a sort of trance. By now she was sure the coffee had run out and wondered why he hadn't move. Panic struck. If he was stuck and couldn't control his power, what the hell was she going to do. She struggled once more but to no avail and she was about to despair when Tim lowered his mug and seemed to notice what was going on.
He set the gravity in the room back to normal and Kat fell back with a thud, knocking some of the wind out of her. She felt relief flood her veins and then an unprecedented anger followed. "What the hell?!" she yelled at Tim, getting up to face him.
She quickly calmed realising this was probably not his fault. She shut up quickly and relaxed her stance. "What the hell is going on?" she asked a little more quietly.
