Mischief was afoot, some would say it was pure, unadulterated, giddy irresponsibility, to Switch, it was just a little bit of silliness really. It was late, at least twelve and Kat was lying comfortably on a couch in the Sitting Room. This was the best part of her day. People were rarely awake at this time and Kat rarely slept long. Thus, she found this the perfect time for solitude. She let her mind wonder from one irrelevant topic to the next, but tonight she was bored.
The occassional high put her in this mood and she longed for something to do. There was a mischevious side to her that reared its head from time to time and now was one of those times. She let her mind ponder the possibilities and came up wanting. Nothing was catching her fancy tonight.
Luckily for her, her answer was just arriving for a late night rendezvous. She shifted slightly as she heard the slight laughter and whispering enter the room. It was clear that the pair hadn't seen Kat's prone figure and she wasn't about to let them in on her position. She was positioned so that, even when they turned on and the dimmed the lights, they didn't notice her curious presence.
She smiled when she realised that it was two of her good friends and the sight of a book in the one's hand made her brain kick into action. "Ancient Hauntings: The United States of America". It was a common rumour that the mansion was haunted. As with most schools, that story had quickly established itself. It was clear that these two were now seeking out this spectre in the room most noted to have been its home.
She couldn't here their whispers, but it was clear to her that they were calling on the spirit and she was delighted. Now was her chance to have a little fun....
She slipped off the couch stealthily, enjoying her play and moved nearer to her two friends. She listened intently as the one with the book called on the spirit. When he asked for evidence that the spectre was there, Kat wasted no time in adjusting the brightness of the light and making it flicker slightly. The two students looked at each other with exhiliration and he called on the spirirt again.
This time, Kat caused a loud crack in the corner through the discharge. The two looked around and she let off another crack elsewhere, she began to see fear presenting itself and took that moment to charge the air around them, she charged the one's hair slightly and it began to stand up owing to the static build-up. There was alarm on her face as she felt her hair move and her features paled.
This, Kat decided was definitely a good way to waste an evening...
OOC: Open to you if you don't mind being called Kat's good friend and, obviously one of you should be a guy and the other a girl...
