INTRODUCTION
The Suggested Gates thread is now open up for any newbies or people who want to create Gates but are too lazy or too uninspired, or, have used up all of their creative juices into their Gates. I have suffered the same thing, and I didn't have any of these helps to guide me.
Now, there are suggestions which seem overpowered. Some of the suggestions remain purely as a suggestion which give an over-all description but does not give the weaknesses. Some of them may be well-thought out and some of them may be just the name. But most likely, they will at least have one sentence of description.
The same categories fall for the Suggested Gates thread and the Taken Gates thread. There's the Supportive, Offensive, Elemental, Illusionary and Special. It seems to me that we have a lack for Supportive and Illusionary Gates as of April 09, 2007, so we will give more ideas for those than the other Gates. There are still gates from the old Gatekeepers you may take, we will add those here.
Also, please be creative! Although this is to help people out, some people can still create their own gates! Just like Mutants in X-Men, each Gatekeeper has their own abilities; and if you make up a spiffy and neat one for your character without using this thread, that's just peachy keen, right?

RULES
Now, although this is a suggestion thread, please take note of the following rules:
1.) Respect the Moderators and the Administrators working on the Suggestions. - Some of them may sound stupid to you, but it may turn out to be a well-made Gate and taken by a good RPer who made great use for it.
2.) Always take note: Add your own descriptions to the gate when taking it. - This is so you still personalize the gate. As I said in the Introduction, NOT ALL GATES ARE WELL-DESCRIBED. Please take note of the Profile Set-up so that you can see how to fix your Gate accordingly.
3.) For reservations of gates, please post it here. - We have a form ready for it.

SUPPORTIVE GATES
Gate of Perception - It can be one of two things.
1.) The Original Gatekeeper's Style (from Misao Sakimori) - To be able to go ten seconds into the future and speak it verbally to allow others to evade attacks.
2.) To perceive and heighten all five senses--or maybe even the sixth sense to be allowed more power when attacking.
Gate of Catalysts - To be a catalyst into allowing the Gatekeeper to buff or power-up a certain aspect of their person or another person.
Gate of Euphoria - To stun the enemy in euphoria, disallowing them from moving for a certain time.
Gate of Persuasion - To allow words or actions to persuade or dissuade a person from doing things. It can be a simple control word or sentence like, "You know you want to eat donuts." To make the person have the urge to do the thing. It may not exactly be successful, but it will most likely be that way.
Gate of Starlight - To imitate a star's light to blind or act as a flashlight. Acts a bit like fireworks, the Gatekeeper can create a flurry of bright lights. Although not exactly damaging, they can blind and stun an opponent for a set amount of time.
Gate of Barricade - By using this Gate, the Gatekeeper may extend the reach and power of the object to be able to block against other objects. Not as powerful as the Gate of Iron Wall or Repulsion, but using the mental power, they may also fling this object at their original size.
Gate of Ray - To be able to create energy rays from the body.
Gate of Wheels - To be able to control any round or wheel-like object to a person's bidding.

OFFENSIVE GATES
Gate of Archery - To have extra power in Archery or Ranged Attacks.
Gate of Strike - To have extra power in weapon mastery.
Gate of Shockwave - To be able to create waves of energy emitted from a part of the body that can send a person to be knocked away or to be damaged.
Gate of Shriek - To allow the voice reach superhuman levels and shatter anything or push away objects.
Gate of Rhapsody - To allow a song to emit a sound wave unbearable to the mind.
Gate of Daggers - To be able to create sharp, jagged objects and turn them into an ethereal or corporeal form, flinging them from the air.
Gate of Claw - To create claws out of nails or from bones and be used for attack.
Gate of Blast - To be able to create large gusts of wind, knocking away anything in its way.
Gate of Binding - To allow the Keeper the power to mentally bind and constrict a person fully.
Gate of Blast 2 - To be able to create powerful energy-consuming attacks from concentration and determination.
Gate of Rapid Object - Like a fan's blades twisting, the Gatekeeper may use a certain "item" which can copy the blades; allowing it to look like it's rapidly moving.
Gate of Acid - To be able to dissolve or burn materials of any kind much more easily.
Gate of Abjuration - To take away, to nullify an effect for as long as possible.
Gate of Conjuration - Works as the opposite of Abjuration, as it can create random objects.

ILLUSIONARY GATES
Gate of Last Song - To create a song that imparts an illusion; the illusion can be cooked up by the mind of the Gatekeeper and can do the same amount of damage it would do if the object was real. However, it takes an insane amount of energy and the character would be immobilized while singing.
Gate of Perishing Illusions - To create an illusion that perishes when touched.
Gate of Dark Illusions - To create an illusion that makes the target hallucinate and slowly turn crazy.
Gate of Feint Disease - The Gate creates a fake disease that creates symptoms upon the body but will immediately cease before the "real" sickness appears.
Gate of Imaginary Animal - The Gate allows the Keeper to suddenly think up of an animal and use it against the target. Each animal lasts only one post.
Gate of Tatami - To be able to use a "Ninja" sort of move; allowing the person to teleport or dissapear from sight and turn into a Tatami Mat. It is a simple illusion however; as the person is merely changing their form to allow them to hide within the Tatami. They may also use the Tatami offensively.
Gate of Mesmerizing - The gate creates simple illusions and phantasms to ensnare the senses of the person, allowing the person to be unaware that they are taking damage or that they are slowly deteriorating in health. Sometimes, it can use the status ailments to ensnare their foes. Although it cannot be used as powerfully on other humans, it is powerful enough to be able to harm them.
Gate of Memories - To allow the Gatekeeper to place in fake memories or take away a certain memory one at a time.

SPECIAL GATES
Gate of Paper - To be able to control paper's forms and manipulate how it works to a human being. Like a paper claw, or it may form into a talisman. The person utilizes their mind to be able to make an origami bird fly or something to that effect; but they may only control paper.
Gate of Metallic Wings - To suddenly create metallic wings from the Keeper's back that can spring out into a variable shape, size and form.
Gate of Gatling Gun - To be able to shoot bullets created out of energy like a Gatling Gun.
Gate of Fountain - To be able to spew liquid like a fountain, any sort of liquid.
Gate of Vertigo - To create a nauseating feeling within one's person and make them unable to attack.
Gate of Trauma - Whether physical or mental trauma, the Gate allows the Keeper to be able to create the traumatic effect to a target.
Gate of Value - It gives value to a specific object the gate keeper may want. The value may either be sentimental, personal or etc.
Gate of Devour - To be able to devour the life-force or an item completely to sustain a person.
Gate of Tissue Manipulation - To be able to manipulate muscle tissues in the body allowing the Gatekeeper to store items within her skin or to change their physical form, as well as regenerate spontaneously.
Gate of Telepathy - To be able to hear thoughts.
Gate of Quick Memorization and Photographic Memory - Basically, a gate which allows the brain to be a Supercenter of Information. Although it doesn't have any uses in battle, it converts the energies from the Gates and uses it into the mind. When the person says "Gate Open" or allows their Gate to open, the memorization entails from every detail and every single part. The only offensive move we can think of for this is to allow the information to spread into the mind of another person, allowing the person to slowly ache due to the brain not processing the information.
Gate of Dreams - Allows the Gatekeeper to enter dreams or make people dream.
Gate of Transmitter - The Gate allows the Gatekeeper the ability to act as a living electronic transmitter and receiver, capable of intercepting virtually any form of electronic signal and transmitting coherent signals of any type through thought.
Gate of Doppleganger - The gate allows the user to create copies of the body that are completely sentient. However, once beckoned to come back, it will always come back.

Name of To-Be Gatekeeper: Hanamachi Yuurei Name of Gate LISTED: Gate of Archery Name of New Gate: Gate of Ranged Eradication
Basically a souped up name for the Gate of Archery. The Gate of Ranged Eradication allows the Gatekeeper to attack Invaders and opponents with arrows that change its element as they are made of the paranormal energy within the gates. The Gate allows the arrows to have special properties within them; Flaming, or made to be like a comet in looks, with sparkles.
The Gate of Ranged Eradication also allows the Gatekeeper to have stronger ranged attacks but a weaker physical constitution, thus making them an easy target from melee fighters or more powerful opponents. The Gate prides itself in being able to eradicate an enemy with quick and precise, as well as fluid movements.

Gate of Fog Bound A slight variant from the Gate of Mists, the Gate of Fog Bound concentrates more on fog. Fog is distinct from mist only in its density, and is defined as a cloud which reduces visibility to less than 1 km, where as mist is that which reduces visibility to less than 2 km. Fog can form suddenly, and can dissipate just as rapidly.
The Gate of Fog Bound allows him to manipulate fog in general. He can make it thicker, thinner or choke the life out of his enemies. He can also use his fog to teleport, but he can only teleport using fog if there is sufficient fog to support his transport (ie: a fog cloud as big as he is) and if the area he is teleporting to has some form of fog, be it a cloud or mist. This also gives him some measure of flight.
Take note that he can CREATE fog, though it will take him some time to do so (1-2 posts depending on size)
His fog can be countered with extreme heat or by dispersing a large amount of salt into the air, although that probably wouldn't work. His fog can only extend to a 20 meter radius around him. It won't deflect bullets but he can manipulate the bullet's trajectory when it entes the fog.
